Day-by-Day Itinerary
Take the 8:15 AM flight from Addis Ababa to Jinka. Upon arrival, meet your guide and driver and begin your journey into the Omo Valley. Depending on the market schedule, visit Dimeka Market or another nearby local market. Explore the market and experience local life, traditional clothing, handicrafts, livestock, and locally produced goods. After lunch, continue to Turmi and check in at Buska Lodge. Overnight at Buska Lodge, Turmi.
After breakfast, drive to the Dasenech tribal area near the Omo River. Visit a Dasenech village and learn about their traditional lifestyle, agriculture, fishing, farming, and daily activities. Return to Turmi for lunch and visit a Hamer village in the afternoon. Experience Hamer culture, traditional clothing, and daily life. If a traditional ceremony is taking place, you may have the opportunity to witness the bull-jumping ceremony and Evangadi dance. Overnight at Buska Lodge, Turmi.
After breakfast, drive to the Karo tribal village along the Omo River. Learn about Karo traditions and their distinctive body painting and cultural practices while enjoying the beautiful scenery. In the afternoon, continue to Jinka and check in at Jinka Eco Lodge. Later, visit Jinka Museum and an Ari village to learn about traditional pottery, weaving, agriculture, and daily life. Depending on available time, enjoy a moderate nature walk before returning to the lodge. Overnight at Jinka Eco Lodge.
After breakfast, depart early for a visit to a Mursi village. Explore the village and learn about the community’s traditional culture and way of life. After the visit, drive back to Jinka for lunch and transfer to Jinka Airport for the 2:05 PM flight to Addis Ababa, arriving at approximately 3:25 PM. Upon arrival, your driver will transfer you to your hotel or preferred location.

If Mesob Ethiopia Tours cancels the tour due to unforeseen circumstances or safety concerns, guests may choose a full refund or reschedule.
