Day-by-Day Itinerary
After breakfast, transfer to Bole International Airport for your morning domestic flight from Addis Ababa to Gondar. Upon arrival, your driver and local guide will meet you and begin your Gondar historical tour. Visit the Fasil Ghebbi Royal Enclosure, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore Fasilides Castle and the historic royal compound. Learn about the emperors, royal traditions, and history of Gondar, the former capital of Ethiopia. After lunch, visit Debre Berhan Selassie Church, famous for its beautiful Ethiopian Orthodox paintings and distinctive ceiling decorated with angel faces. Continue to a local craft training center where you can see artisans producing handmade leather goods, textiles, pottery, and metalwork.
